What do you like the most?
Halloween is my favorite series. Then Friday the 13th. Then Nightmare on Elm Street.

When it comes to the original films, my rank is:
1. Halloween 2. A Nightmare on Elm Street 3. Friday the 13th
But when it comes to franchises..., there's no question. It's:
1. Friday the 13th 2. A Nightmare on Elm Street 3. Halloween
Halloween was such a masterpiece by itself, that none of the sequels could live up to it. And they were not good sequels. Not any one of them were as good as Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors or Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan. Halloween is a case where the sequels were made to be ignored, though H20: 20 Years Later had some good story ideas and Part 2 and Season of the Witch had some good style and cinematography and music scores.
A Nightmare on Elm Street had one sequel as good as it was, and two other sequels almost as good. Three very good movies are the original. That makes it a far stronger franchise than Halloween. And Friday the 13th was an entertainingly trashy movie with sequels as entertainingly trashy as it was (except The Final Chapter, which was nasty and not as fun). Yes, it matters that almost all the movies are of the same quality.

Not trying to be bitchy admin, but Dilo, stop making these kinda threads. You flooded my forum with them, but don't do em here. They get annoying fast.

I've only PARTIALLY edited both of your replies, because...
I think you both have good points here. What I left of your posts, that is, I think you're both right about.
Steve, you should not have brought the bickering back. Don't even reference it. What I've chosen to erase, I would like to remain erased. But, I won't consider this 2nd count a violation of the rules this time. The first count will stay though, you broke the rules yesterday. Your punishment is this: don't say anything to Dil unless it's positive. 5 days, starting right now - 1:20 PM Thursday the 10th, ending about the same time on the 15th. 5 days, only positive things. Or, don't say nothing at all.
Also, for these next 5 days, I'm changing you to a Moderator. On the 15th, you can be Admin again. Admins must act like Admins. At least on my board. With power comes responsibility. To get it back, you have to earn it back.
Dil, Steve is right about one thing. Your posts are all the same as on your board and Steve's. I don't want people just posting as many new topics as they can. I want good topics, not just ranks and so on and so forth. I want people to think about stuff they really want to talk about and post that. Don't just copy and paste the same posts you already have. What I always envisioned this board to be is a full discussion board with exploration of opinions. Not just "I like" or "I don't like." Put a little more thought into it, it's not that hard.
For the last time, I will reset the Karma Levels to 0.
If this gets out of hand again, the next Level I'm going to play with is your Warning Level. Looks like fun. ;D

1. Friday the 13th - Jason is badass 2. Halloween 3. A Nightmare on Elm Street - I kind of think Freddy is a pussy therefore I don't enjoy this series that much.. I still have 2 more movies to watch. Freddys Dead and New Nightmare.. So far out of all the movies I've only enjoyed the first one.
